Small Business and The Internet !

The Philadelphia Business Journal held a conference on how small business uses technology. The survey results are in. Use of the Internet by small business is expected to explode during the next 12 months, especially among fast-growing, small businesses. The most often mentioned reason to use the Internet is Email. More than one in four small businesses report that they currently market product on the World Wide Web. 28% of all small businesses said they are likely to have a home page 12 months from now. 50% of all fast-growing businesses said they are likely to have a home page 12 months from now. In conclusion, the race is on. Companies are rushing to the Internet to advertise their products and services. The "faster-growing" companies are expected to have a leg up on their competition. So, are you the hare or the turtle?
